Rally Detail

Join us once again in Coeur d’Alene for the most exciting Idaho State HOG rally ever... The 2010 Idaho State HOG Rally by the Lake. Come and enjoy an expanded agenda, spanning four days, filled with great rides, great people, a great dealership and, most of all, great riders looking for fun.

The rally kicks off with the first guided ride heading out on Thursday afternoon. Our destination … Higgins Point on Lake Coeur d’Alene. Bring a camera for some breathtaking pictures. No camera? No problem! Our professional photographer will take the picture for you. Leaving Higgins Point, the ride continues on to Thunder Thursday, a weekly gathering of hundreds of Northwest riders. Meet new friends, eat good food, dance to good music or buy the item you can’t live without from one of many vendors.

While waiting to ride, be sure to visit Lone Wolf Harley Davidson which is right next door to our host hotel, where you can enjoy rally bike games, good food, cool drinks, and dancing all day, every day. Owners Beth and Greg are pulling out all the stops to make your stay in Coeur d'Alene a memorable one.

To experience all the Coeur d’Alene area has to offer, join us on one of our seven guided rides or fifty self-guided rides. All day ride, or a few hours on the road? Mountain, lake or river ride? The choice is yours! Riders looking for the ultimate ride are invited to get up early on Friday and join our local HOG director Brian for a 260 mile ride. Brian promises to have you back in time to join in the rest of the day’s activities.

Friday evening we will travel ‘parade-style’ through Coeur d’Alene to Sherman Avenue, Coeur d’Alene’s main street. Feel free to park in the middle of the street because it is blocked off just for us. The business community is rolling out the red carpet to welcome you to Coeur d'Alene. Take part in the Walking Poker Run and then get the party started with live music, dancing, hourly 50/50 draws and many other giveaways.

Want to sleep in on Saturday? – go ahead. Guided rides will leave throughout the day, or you can grab a map and take one of our fifty self-guided ride choices.

Experience how locals live in the Northwest by taking part in many community events planned throughout the weekend. Play golf at one of the world’s premier golf courses. The Coeur d’ Alene Resort, home of the world’s only floating green, is offering our riders a rally special on golf, carts and clubs.

Visit a real Silver Mine or spend the day at Silverwood Theme Park, plus much, much more.
Proud of your bike and want a challenge? Enter the Best Bike in Show contest held at our host hotel. View the contestant’s bikes at Lone Wolf throughout Saturday.

Gather with friends at our Saturday night banquet where we’ll kick off the evening with the announcement of the bike show winners. Try your luck at one of our raffles or hourly 50/50 drawings and work off your dinner dancing to the music Harley owners love to listen to.

On Sunday, wake up and join other riders for a breakfast ride to Sandpoint Idaho. Sandpoint, in the northern tip of Idaho, is no ordinary destination. Located on magnificent 43-mile-long Lake Pend Oreille, surrounded by the Selkirk and Cabinet Mountains, Sandpoint is blessed with outstanding attractions. But it goes deeper than that. The town itself is exceptional, home to a thriving arts community, excellent restaurants and unusual shopping.

The goal of this year’s rally is to create an atmosphere where friendships are made, lifetime memories are created and fun is had by all.

See you in September!
